This is the reesponse I got from an Air Force E-9 (30 yrs, 3 days) friend of mine. The Air Force will ban baseball bats in the barracks, uhh dormitory. Only personnel who have completed responsible bat ownership training, available on line at www.pinkaf.mil will be authorized to possess bats. Authorized personnel will be required to turn in their bats at the AP, I mean SP, excuse me, SF armory. Authorized personnel will be allowed to check out their bats only for "authorized sports events" which will require a new form. The form needs both supervisor and commander signatures. Also, I assume the threat of "fuck that up one more time you dip shit and you stay a night in the queer barracks!" has already been purged from the Lackland basic training curriculum. ******************************************************** Well, now we see how the Army does it.
